Personal Data and GDPR

Your personal data is of great importance to us at FURAB AB. We strive to securely handle and manage the personal data of our customers that we have access to. This means that we work to protect your personal privacy and maintain a high level of data security. GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is an EU regulation that came into effect in all member states in 2018. It replaced the previous Personal Data Act and, together with the national legislation Data Protection Act, was introduced to tighten the requirements for how companies and authorities may process your personal data. At the same time, your rights to influence the processing of your personal data were expanded.

What data is processed?

In order to fulfill our obligations under agreements, it is sometimes necessary for us to process personal data about you as a customer or potential customer. This may include information such as name, personal identification number, address, telephone number, email address, and more. This data is stored by us on various media and may, in some cases, be shared with other entities that collaborate with us to provide you with the services you have from us and to handle the financial aspects of our business relationship. To process personal data, there must be a legal basis for the processing, either through legislation that regulates which data must be processed or through consent from the data subject.

Where do the data come from?

Typically, the data comes from you when you register as a customer or enter into an agreement with us. This is a prerequisite for us to be able to enter into agreements with you.

What rights do you have?

You have the right to obtain information about what personal data we have registered about you. If it turns out that your data is incorrect or incomplete, you can request that it be corrected. If the data is outdated, for example, if the customer relationship has ended, you can request that it be deleted. However, we cannot delete data that constitute public documents or if there are statutory requirements for retention, such as accounting rules. A request for a register extract, information, or correction must be in writing and include full name and personal identification number and be signed by hand.

A request for a register extract, information, or correction should be sent to:
